Santuario della Madonna della Neve, incastonato nella roccia .
Per questa Madonna ci sono innumerevoli festeggiamenti. Viene trasportata da una Chiesa all'altra.
Fra i monumenti da ricordare la Chiesa di San Nicola., e la Chiesa del Rosario con un prezioso affresco sul Giudizio Universale.
Curiosità...La leggenda vuole che nella Chiesa di San Nicola
sia sepolta " Monna Lisa " La Gioconda
resa famosa da Leonardo
sempre ...la leggenda racconta che sia morta a Lagonegro nel 1506 di febbre infettiva durante un suo viaggio di ritorno dalla Calabria a Firenze
Nella chiesa di San Nicola la sua tomba.
( su altri documenti, risulterebbe invece sepolta a Firenze nel Monastero di S.Orsola)
